This is a reminder to fast the day of Arafah – this Sunday, Dec 7th 2008.
It was reported from Abu Qutaadah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Alaah (sallahAllahu aleyhi wasalam) was asked about fasting on the Day of Arafah. He said, “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.” [Sahih Muslim]
